Week One
(Friday, February 16, 2007 to Thursday, February 22, 2007)

Kat and Team StormWatch (minus Reginald, who didn't go with them to Vegas) go to Denver, because Damage and Bob are hurt. Damage recovers fairly quickly, but Bob remains unconscious. Kat misses New York and her space there, but decides to stay until Bob wakes up. (And since she can't fly, it would be terribly unfair to take the jet so that others who can't fly are stuck there.)
Kat attends Nick Jackson's funeral, and then waits for Bob to wake up.

Damage seems to be okay. That's a relief. I was worried about him. He was amazing, though, the way he just stood up to Divis, like it was nothing. I wouldn't have been able to do it, and I can admit that. I heal quick, but I'd still be ... afraid. Afraid he'd do damage faster than I can heal, I guess. Partly.

Anyway, the Denver facilities are nice, but I miss New York already.
I haven't seen Elías since getting here. Well, he's been in the training area a bit, but we haven't really talked much.

Week Two
(Friday, February 23, 2007 to Thursday, March 1, 2007)

Sunday, February 25, 2007

I've been spending most of my time in the training area here (working on my reflexes). I keep wandering to the labs, hoping to do some kind of work there, but ... my notes are all in NYC, and my tools. Spy-der2's here, but I haven't thought of other things for her to measure yet, so making another one with someone else's tools and without my notes seems pointless.
To tell the truth, it's driving me insane. I've always had that, it was an outlet. I can beat shit up (and I'm getting fairly decent at it, too), and that provides some kind of stress relief, but ... I'm still getting antsy. I've spent some time in Denver since getting here (with Elías ... I think you could say I'm officially twitterpated), but ... Denver isn't a patch on NYC. There's nothing to do here; I miss the city.
I'm thinking about flying to New York again and picking up some of my stuff. That way I can work on my shit and stop distracting Elías from his Nova ideas.

I called up Grandpa last night. I'm gonna go visit him tomorrow. Spend a couple days. Uncle James may come and see me, too. That'll be good. A chance to get away from here for a bit.

Week Three
(Friday, March 2, 2007 to Thursday, March 8, 2007)

Kat spends the week with her grandpa and uncle, and comes back to the Denver facilities on Friday. Elías takes her out Friday night, and then she goes back to training and tinkering with Spy-der.

Week Four
(Friday, March 9, 2007 to Thursday March 15, 2007)

Kat spends most of time with Elías or in the training facilities. On Saturday morning, she gets a call:

"Hello?"
"Hey, Kitten."
"Eliot! How are you? What's up, what's going on?"
"Whoa, whoa, Kat, chill, okay? It's not like it's been that long since we've talked."
Kat giggled. "Silly me, I guess. I was excited. You're my favorite brother."
"That would be so much more flattering if you had another brother."
Kat grinned. "So? Answer my questions!"
"I'm great, although I'm exhausted and I've been very busy. But the show opens next weekend, and it'll run for several weeks, and then I'll have a short break. Me and Juliet will maybe take a short vacation, maybe down to Philadelphia for a couple days."
"That's cool! You'll bring me back something?"
Kat could hear Eliot's smile on his voice. "You name it, it's yours. But, really, I'm calling about my show. You, Dad, Jess and Livvy are on the list for tickets, and I'll send you an email with the dates, so talk to them and let me know ASAP about what night, okay?"
"Eliot, I don't need a free ticket. Put one of your friends on the list. I can get Dad, Jess and Livvy, too."
"Kitten, it's not that big a deal. You're family. You're on the list. How is your new job going?"
"You're not getting away with this, you know."
"Oh, I know. How's the job?"
"I guess it's alright. There's so much to talk about, though, so maybe I should save most of it for when I see you next. I'm bored as hell right now. We're in Denver, and Denver is boring!"
"What are you doing in Denver?"
"Did you hear about Divis and the XWF stadium and all that?"
"Yeah ... "
Kat winced. It was his I-don't-think-I'm-going-to-like-what-I'm-about-to-hear voice. Fine time for him to get all protective-big-brother on her. "Well, we had to help out. A couple team members got hurt. And Denver was closer than New York. We're waiting for Bob - he's not really a team member, more of our manager or something - to heal up. He's not a nova, so it'll take longer for him to heal than Damage took."
"Did you get hurt?"
Maybe I'll keep the incident in Bahrain to myself right now. "No, I stayed away from Divis and helped the other people get away from him. He was ... not in a good mood."
"Not in a good mood? Yeah, I'll say. I don't know if I like this, Kitten."
"Don't worry, Eliot. I'll be fine. I'm a superhero, remember? I can take care of myself. And my team members will watch my back."
"That's good. Look, I can't talk too much longer, so we'll discuss this more when I have more time. Anything else I should know about?"
"Well ... there's Elías ... " She grinned, hard. Her brother had been so busy the past couple weeks, they hadn't been able to talk for more than a minute or two, and she hadn't been able to tell him about her dates with Elías.
"A boy?"
"Yeah! He's awesome, Eliot! He's a nova, too, and he's part of StormWatch, he started there just a day after I did."
"So ... details?"
"He's Brazilian, and way sexy. He's a martial artist, and he can fly and teleport." Probably shouldn't mention the mind-reading powers, since Caestus wants that kept secret. I hate keeping secrets from Eliot. "Ummm ... oh, yeah, he's got a tail."
"A tail?"
"Yeah."
"He's sexy and he has a tail? I guess I'll just take your word for it."
"Or maybe you can meet him sometime."
"That would be good. Look, I have to go, okay? Give me a call sometime."
"Okay, love you!"
"Love you, too, Kitten."
